Wednesday was an exciting day when we learned we would be able to adopt our three-year-old friend on the right. He's settling in well and is an incredibly good-natured dog. It's a bit of a shock to have a dog that can hear again and delightful to be greeted at the door when we come home. Joel enjoys that he loves going for walks. We weren't sure how 15-year-old Elsa would react. But after the initial surprise at having another dog in her house, she seems calmer. It's almost like she's relieved to have a younger dog around who will look out for her and her family.
