Balmy weather

It's hot down here in Virginia. No complaints. Actually, it was real hot a few days ago. The last few have been quite manageable. Particularly when you're in air conditioned rooms for classes and when outside get to sit under leafy ancient trees. I love humid weather and being able to wear sleeveless sun dresses. After leaving behind snow on the mountains back home, this was a wonderful change of climate.

Before classes started Joel and I had a few days to tour around to see the Washington sites. This is as close as one can get to the White House walking along the road. Also, I bought three pairs of shoes! Well surely the flip flops don't count so I guess that's only two!

A wonderful assortment of classmates from across the US and a few from Canada and two from England. A variety of backgrounds that add to the learning from some high calibre instructors.
