What looked so simple....

Finally got a photo of this, thanks to N! It's from Burda WOF June '08. I purchased the Rayon knit from a fabric store on Toronto's Queen Street when Joel and I were there in the spring. It was $17 per metre and I would have walked away except it was sooo soft and the exact ivory colour I'd been looking for. Amazingly enough the 1 metre was so wide I could make this long-sleeved T. The reviews on Fabric review say this is easy to sew; however the challenge was the light rayon fabric. I ended up ripping out my first attempt on the collar because it didn't lie flat. The light fabric needed interfacing on both the facing and collar edge. This is lower cut than I like so needed to invest in a camisole. My first purchase of a Wallyworld camisole lost its life early when its navy blue dye began to transfer to the rayon knit. Hopefully the Winner's version is a better investment!
